Regarding the house cat...
Kitty resides on the innkeepers' side of the mansion but enjoys meeting guests as long as no one has allergies.
She does not lounge on beds or climb on tables, nor is she allowed in rooms unless invited.
We are able to accommodate guests with cat allergies due to the largeness of the house and its four air-handlers, constant vacuuming, and circulating HEPA-filter.
Please let us know if you have an allergy (or aversion!) to cats, and we'll make certain she won't bother you. We have had guests with self-proclaimed severe allergies who have reported no difficulties whatsoever; please bring a favorite antihistamine for your comfort if you prefer.
